What we do with what you send us.

JR Infotech runs one form on this site — the query form. This page says exactly what that form collects, why we keep it, and how to have it removed. It is written for the people who use it, not for lawyers.

What the query form collects

One row here for every piece of information the form stores. There is nothing kept that is not on this list.

  • Your name Required — so we know who we are replying to
  • Business name Optional
  • Phone number Required unless you give an email
  • Email address Required unless you give a phone number
  • What it is about The topic you pick from the list
  • Your question The message you type
  • Callback request Whether you asked for one, and the date and time slot
  • Time of sending The date and time your message reached us

Nothing else is collected. There is no account, no login, no tracking pixel, no advertising tag and no analytics on this site.

One thing sits outside that list, because it is not the form. Like almost every website, the server this site runs on keeps its own access log — the address your internet connection is using, the page requested and the time. That is standard web server record-keeping, it is not linked to your query, and we do not read it unless something has gone wrong and we are trying to work out what.

Why we keep it

Two reasons, and that is the whole list. The first is to reply to you. The second is to have a record of what you asked, so that if you come back to us months later about the same system, we can see the history instead of asking you to explain it again.

Cookies

One cookie, set by PHP when you open the query form. It holds the session that lets us check the form was submitted from our own page and that the same person is not sending the form over and over — a thirty-second gap between submissions. It expires when you close the browser.

There are no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies, because there is no advertising or analytics on this site.

Who sees it

The people at JR Infotech who answer queries. Nobody else. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for marketing, and we do not send it to a mailing list.

No third party is involved in showing you this site. The typefaces, images and code are all served from our own server, so opening a page here does not announce your visit to anyone else. The one handoff is deliberate and yours: if you tap the WhatsApp or phone button, the conversation moves to that app and its own rules apply from that point.

Where we keep it and for how long

In the database behind this site, on a host in India. We keep a query for as long as it is useful for supporting you. We review the older records by hand and clear anything past three years that we no longer need. There is no automatic purge, so if you want yours gone sooner, ask and we will remove it.

How it is protected

The live site is served over HTTPS, so what you type reaches us encrypted. The form writes to the database through prepared statements, which is what stops a message being treated as a database instruction. Please do not send financial details, card numbers or copies of identity documents through this form — it is not built for them, and we will never ask for them here.

What you can ask us to do

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or phone us using the details below. We reply within thirty days and usually within the same week.

There is no self-service button for this, on purpose — we match your request against the phone number or email address used in the query, so we know we are giving the right record to the right person.

Children

This form is for businesses getting in touch about software. It is not intended for anyone under eighteen. If we are told that someone under eighteen has sent us something, we delete it.

Changes to this page

If the form changes what it collects, this page is updated the same day and the date at the top changes with it. We do not keep an archive of previous versions, so the page you are reading is always the current one.
